Welcome to my Homepage! My name is Amit Chandihok and I am a film producer, director, and project manager with a diverse background and a unique life journey. Born in Kabul in 1982, I fled with my family to New Delhi in 1992 during the civil war. Two years later, we moved to Germany’s Ruhr region. After finishing my schooling I completed vocational training in wholesale and foreign trade in the year 2001, followed by my high school diploma at the evening gymnasium in the year 2006. To earn my living cost i used to sell goods on flew marktes for years to earn my living.
I am fluent in multiple languages, including German, English, Hindi, and three other languages, which enables me to bridge cultural gaps and work effectively in diverse, international environments.
My Path into Film
My passion for storytelling led me to the film industry, where I gained initial experience through internships on productions such as Freche Mädchen and Die wilden Hühner. This laid the foundation for my first role as production manager for the short film Nachtimbiss, produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk.
In 2009, I began my studies in Film and Television Production at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. During my studies, I directed three short films and produced projects that were shown at over 50 international festivals, including the prestigious Max Ophüls Film Festival, which deepened my love for visual storytelling.Professional Experience
After graduating in 2015, I expanded my skills through roles that combined creativity and social impact. I worked as a social supervisor in a Berlin emergency shelter and later managed a facility for 400 refugees. Additionally, I gained valuable experience as a project coordinator at Imago TV and NFP Filmproduktion, overseeing various creative projects.I Work on the Best Projects

Whether in film production or social initiatives, my focus is on bringing innovative ideas to life and creating content that resonates deeply with audiences. Alongside my work, I have a deep passion for photography. I love capturing moments in my daily life, finding beauty in the ordinary, and telling stories through the lens of my camera. As a devoted Hindu iam a fan of yoga philosophy, I integrate practices like yoga, meditation, breathwork.Beside thi I love to dance contempary Dance and ecstatic dance, helping me stay grounded and balanced, and fueling my creativity and clear mind.Looking Ahead
